“Lucien Hervé, Photographer Despite Himself” is a film about the essence of the work and life of one of the most important photographers of architecture of the 20th century. As the official photographer of French architect Le Corbusier, Lucien Hervé worked for the designer from 1949 until his death in 1965. He then worked for a number of famous architects including Marcel Breuer, Oscar Niemeyer and Walter Gropius.

The film is an outstanding portrait of the photographer, of Paris and the spirit of the times. It is based on old photographs and footage and is narrated by his widow.
