    Yves Klein, The Blue Revolution

Yves Klein, sinine revolutsioon | Yves Klein, la rÄ—volution bleue

    Director: Francois Levy-Kuentz

    Country: France

    Year: 2006

    Length: 52'

The inventor of the monochrome and the happening, Yves Klein (1928-1962) is a true prodigy. His career lasted only eight years but he managed nonetheless to shake the foundations of modern art. Although his name might only evoke the celebrated IKB (International Klein Blue) and monochrome canvases, his work extends well beyond the realm of painting.
Francois Levy Kuentz won the prize for the best portrait at the 25th FIFA (International Festival of Films on Art in Montreal) for the film, as well as the Etoile SCAM 2008 award.
